Italy: Coffins falling short of burial

The situation in Italy struggling with coronavirus after China became uncontrollable. In just two weeks, an entire generation has lost its life. The situation here in Lombardy Province is so terrible that the people are facing struggles in performing the last rites of those who died of coronavirus.  According to the report, Lombardy Province is facing a lot of problems in burying the dead.

The churches here have lines of coffins in which the bodies of those who died of corona infection are to be buried. Because of this, people have to keep the dead bodies in their homes for several days. In this Italian province facing the Coronavirus epidemic, the functioning of companies responsible for the funeral has collapsed.

In Italy, more than three thousand people have lost their lives due to the virus till Thursday. Due to the death of many people in a very short time, the corpses are being buried without any rites. There are 1.2 million people living in this province and more than two thousand infected people have lost their lives only from this area.

In addition, more than 4,300 people are Corona positive in the region. On Wednesday night, the army had to work to move 65 coffins from various places in the cemetery. The CFB, which holds the funeral responsibility in the area, has buried about 600 people since 1st March.
